Medallion Resources Provides an Update on MOU with ARMICO and Takamul

Medallion Resources Ltd. (TSXV:MDL,OTCQB:MLLOF) reported its evaluation of jurisdictions outside the Middle East in order to expedite the approval, construction, and operation of its proposed processing facility. Medallion now expects to purchase near-pure monazite feedstock and market a mixed rare-earth concentrate. The Company also announced that its MOU with Arab Mining Company has not been further extended. However, its MOU with Takamul Investment Company remains in effect until March 30, 2015, unless further extended.

Matamec Exploration Announces JV With Ressources Quebec

Matamec Explorations (TSXV:MAT,OTCQX:MHREF) announced that it will create a joint venture with Ressources Quebec (RQ). Under the terms of the agreement, RQ will acquire a 28 percent interest in the Kipawa heavy rare earths deposit for a payment of roughly $3 million to the joint venture.

Ucore Extends Mineralization at Bokan

Ucore Rare Metals (TSXV:UCU,OTCQX:UURAF) reported that assay results from its 2014 drill program at the Bokan-Dotson Ridge heavy rare earth element project have indicated mineralization at a greater depth than the existing resource at the project.

Search Minerals Announces Second Major REE Discovery

Search Minerals (TSXV:SMY) reported channel sample assay results from its Deepwater Fox REE (rare earth element) prospect in Labrador, indicating a new critical rare earth discovery in the Port Hope Simpson REE District. Results exceeded those of Search's nearby Foxtrot deposit.
